Because I completely forgot to submit it here on Devvy art...it's a little old now, but for those who haven't seen t already, here it is, my first work for TV (eventually)!

Made entirely in Stop-Motion (with the only computer work being the editing and some colour correction) using a technique often dubbed as 'Pixelation', in which I animated myself frame by frame. Some shots were animated up to 20 times before I was happy with them.

The soundtrack was developed by one of Sci-Fi's clever sound guys, who gave the animation the feel of the film it's based on without using anything from the film and thus not getting sued by Disney. =P

watch it at Sci-Fi's website here: [link]

(EDIT: Compressed it down to 6MB)

Wow that took a while to load! But if anything it made me more keen to see the standard I need to get to ^^; *gives up waiting for flash and watches it on the sci fi channel website* o_o nice... I'm assumbing you had some assitance with the camera? That would have been hellish to get it running so smoothly otherwise @_@

If I can I'll try to compress this video some more. It is only a minute long after all.

Nope, I did all the camera movements myself frame by frame. The only assistance I had was my mum pressing the capture frame button whenever both of my hands were on screen XD

Ah cool that's similar to my setup for strange days with 3 key differences on mine... the camera was set up wrong (the brightness levels should have been manuel but it was set to automatic! @_@), it didn't move and the camera guy also pretty much sucked too ^^;

OH man that's incredible.
Personally, I really like that stop-motion sort of animation, sorta like what you did with the Fuji's.

Indeed, it's hard work but a lot of fun to do when it goes right, this stop motion stuff.
