Ok, that came out of nowhere. Can't wait, this is the most historic video game crossover since Capcom VS SNK, but come on, Sega, Nintendo...you KNOW what we really want.

We want Sonic and Mario BEATING THE LIVING SHITE OUT OF EACH OTHER.

(Aka Sonic in Smash Bros Brawl please!)

They may not be rivals anymore, but anyone who was about for the 16-bit era has been dying to see this happen, surely. I have a feeling that this sudden announcement of Sega produced crossover pretty much confirms Sonic in Brawl. It's a you-scratch-my-back-and-I'll-scratch-yours sort deal, I bet.

Bring it on!

EDIT: Hooray! He's in it, and is exactly how I imagined him to be, complete with old school attacks like the dash attack. [link]

Being a kid during the Mega Drive/Suer Nintendo era has a lot to do with it. The rivalry back then was like nothing before or since. Of course now we know they were both great but back then, you were either a Nintendo kid or a Sega kid.
