What does BWFFOCFLGMTEPA stand for, you ask? Why, It stands for 'Ball With Face Falling Off Cliff Featuring Little Ghost Mole Thing Experimental Pencil Animation', of course!
This was a pencil animation done for Uni a few weeks back. The aim was to make around 24 frames of a ball falling off a cliff in the most interesting way we could in 2 hours. We then slapped the animations under one of those Lunchbox thingys (It plugs up to a telly and cam-corder to capture frames, then play them back.) Antiscipation, squash and strech, and spacing had to be used.
The frames were drawn on A4 paper, and each was drawn over the previous to keep things working (Although it doe's have that 'Chinese Whispers' effect on the cliff though, what with it slowly chnaging shape slightly XD) Mine ended up at 41 frames, with a face on the ball, the cliff falling apart a bit, and a little ghost mole type thing popping out of the ground that gets bopped on the head (Notice the '100' point score that pops ups when this happens).
Just tonight I decided to scan all the frames in and put them together in flash, so I could keep the animation on me computer. I really enjoy animating this way, just with paper.
the animation made me giggle a lot and plus the ball guy reminded me of Pacman and the small mole remined me of a creature known as a Diglet ^^ lol anyway the animation looked amusing and smooth nice work and keep it up
