This idea just popped into my mind last night as I've been listening to the Katamari Damacy soundtracks and watching Azumanga Daioh a lot recently. The secound I thought of it, I had to scribble it down. I needed to use a lot of references to draw this, as it was the first time I drew these characters. I inked it all this morning in about 1 1/2 hours, then CGed it this afternoon. I didn't want to colour them all i full detailed colour, as that would have taken forever, so I did each character is a single colour each instead, which still took a while (about 3 hours). The logo re-creation was done with Photoshop's shape and text tools.

Not only do they get rolled up, but if it carries the great Katamari traditon, they're all destined for the cold void of space~~~...

They'd either make a shiny star or explode in a gory mass. I don't know. I didn't do it~!
